Chi Wit back massage

Do you often feel tension in your back or notice that your head feels full and restless? The Chi Wit Back Massage offers you a moment to truly let go. Combining Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian massage techniques, it deeply relaxes your back and gently releases built-up tension. By focusing on the spine – seen as the tree of life – energy can flow more freely again, giving you a greater sense of space and calm within yourself.

Information

What is the Chi Wit Back Massage?

Chi Wit means Tree of Life and refers to the spine – the core of our body where nerves come together and connect with the entire system. When tension and stress build up here, you may feel it both physically and mentally.

The Chi Wit Back Massage combines techniques from Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian traditions. With a balance of gentle and firmer strokes, it helps release tension in the back and invites your body to become more supple. This not only eases the muscles but also creates more space and relaxation within yourself.

Why choose the Chi Wit Back Massage?

Many people notice that tension tends to build up in the back and neck – caused by stress, emotions, or physical strain. This can lead to fatigue, stiffness, or a heavy feeling in the body. The Chi Wit Back Massage focuses on relieving that tension so your back feels more flexible, and you can experience greater relaxation and renewed energy. It’s a moment to pause, listen to what your body needs, and give yourself the care you deserve.

What to expect

During the session, I massage your back, neck, and shoulders using a mix of flowing, relaxing movements and deeper, firmer techniques to release tension. The back of your legs and a short foot massage are also included, supporting overall relaxation and circulation. This combination of gentle and more intense techniques helps your body let go of tension and feel more spacious. The treatment is given in silence, allowing you to fully surrender to the moment.

What you may experience

  • Less tension in your back, neck, and shoulders

  • A sense of deep rest and relaxation

  • A more supple body and freedom of movement

  • More space and clarity in your mind

  • Increased energy and a renewed sense of strength

Contraindications

Contraindications for a Chi Wit back massage

A Chi Wit Back Massage is a relaxing treatment, but it is not suitable in every situation. Please avoid this massage if you have an infectious illness such as fever, flu, severe cold, or throat infection. It is also only possible with approval from your doctor in cases of epilepsy, psychiatric treatment, or a history of psychosis. The treatment is further not recommended if you have high blood pressure or diabetes and use medication, cancer, heart conditions or arrhythmias, or open wounds.

The massage is also unsuitable if you have thrombosis or severe varicose veins, skin problems or contagious skin conditions, or if you have had recent trauma or surgery. If you are taking blood thinners, massage may be less appropriate. During the first three months of pregnancy this treatment is not advised; afterwards, I unfortunately cannot offer it either, as it is difficult to perform in a side-lying position.

The Chi Wit Back Massage is designed to support relaxation and wellbeing, but it does not replace medical care. If you are unsure whether this treatment is suitable for you, always consult your doctor.

Treatments

Chi Wit Back Massage

The treatment begins with the gentle scent of Palo Santo and a refreshing botanical mist to help you unwind. I then massage the back using a combination of relaxing and energetic techniques, with a special focus on the spine. The back of the legs and a short foot massage are also included to support circulation and grounding.

We finish with the harmonizing sounds of Koshi chimes and a botanical mist, creating a gentle transition back to the present moment.

You can choose between a 60- or 90-minute session. In the 90-minute treatment, there is more time for all techniques, and if desired, we close with a relaxing sound bowl experience. [View more information and contraindications for sound bowls]

Chi Wit Back Massage with Face Massage

This treatment combines the deep relaxation of the Chi Wit Back Massage with the soothing effect of a Japanese facial massage.

As an additional option, you can finish the session with the calming sounds of sound bowls for an even deeper experience of rest.

Please note: this treatment is not suitable if you have facial inflammations. [View more information and contraindications for sound bowls]
