Reiki

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the busyness of everyday life, and notice that your body or mind can’t easily find rest? A Reiki treatment offers you a moment to relax, release tension, and recharge. You don’t need to do anything – you simply lie comfortably on the treatment table while gentle touch helps you unwind and allows your energy to flow more freely.

Information

Experience Calm with Reiki

Reiki is a relaxation method from Japan that means “life energy.” During a treatment I use gentle hand placements to bring both your body and mind to rest. This can help release tension and allow your energy to flow more freely, leaving you with a lighter and more relaxed feeling.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is based on the idea that a natural energy flows through us, supporting our vitality. In daily life, stress, busyness, and constant stimuli can affect this flow, leaving you feeling tired, tense, or restless.

A Reiki session gives you the space to slow down and simply be, so your energy can move more freely again and you feel calmer and lighter.

Why choose Reiki?

Modern life brings constant pressure and distractions, which can leave you feeling drained or out of balance. Reiki offers a moment to pause, unwind, and take time just for yourself.

Many people notice after a session:

  • A deep sense of relaxation

  • Less tension in body and mind

  • Improved sleep

  • More energy in daily life

  • Greater clarity and focus

What to expect

You’ll lie comfortably on the treatment table, fully clothed and covered with a blanket. With gentle hand placements on or just above your body, I invite you to let go and relax. Everyone experiences Reiki differently: you may feel warmth or tingling, or simply notice a sense of calm. Whatever arises is perfectly fine – your body takes in exactly what it needs in that moment.

Take a moment for yourself and book your Reiki session easily through the online agenda.

If you have cancer or another serious condition, epilepsy, psychological issues, recent injuries or have recently had surgery, please consult your physician before booking.

Reiki is a relaxation treatment and not a substitute for medical care. If you are unsure whether a session is suitable for you, always check with your doctor.

Reiki Treatments

Reiki Treatment

The session begins with the gentle scent of Palo Santo, helping you to arrive and settle into calm. During Reiki, you may experience deep relaxation while your energy flows more freely. The treatment concludes with sound instruments such as gong, Koshi’s and chimes, complemented by a botanical mist.

Reiki & Massage

A combination of Reiki and a Japanese face massage with Ayurvedic oil. The session begins with Palo Santo, followed by Reiki to help you unwind and allow your energy to flow more freely. The face massage with Ayurvedic oil then eases tension and leaves you feeling refreshed and cared for. We end with sound instruments such as gong, Koshi’s and chimes, enhanced by a botanical mist.

For a 90-minute session, you can choose to finish the last 10 minutes with a sound bowl experience. [View the contraindications here]

Reiki & Sound Bowls

A treatment where Reiki and sound bowls complement each other. The session begins with Palo Santo, followed by Reiki to release tension and create space. The tones and vibrations of the bowls then guide you into a deeper sense of stillness. We close with gong, Koshi’s and chimes, accompanied by a botanical mist.

Note: additional contraindications apply for sound bowls. [View more information here]

Extra information

Confirmation:

Your appointment is confirmed once you’ve received a confirmation email. Don’t see it in your inbox? Please check your spam folder. If it’s still not there, feel free to let me know.

Clothing:

For a Reiki session you can keep your clothes on. If you combine Reiki with a massage, it’s helpful to have your shoulders and neck uncovered. A camisole or strapless top works best.

Hair & make-up (only in combination with massage):

Wearing make-up is no problem. If you’d like the full time to be used for the massage, please arrive with a clean face. Eye make-up can stay on, though it may smudge slightly.

I use oil during the massage, which can leave your hair a bit oily. A mirror is available so you can tidy your hair afterwards.

Changes and cancellations:

Would you like to reschedule or cancel? Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
