I am Mandy Schennink, 33 years old (♋) and together with my husband Henri and our sweet cat Boris I live in the beautiful, rural Wintelre. I like to be in nature, with animals and interested in (ancient) cultures. Together with my husband I like to travel to inspiring places. Being creative with creating atmospheric, cozy spaces is a passion of mine. In addition, I am interested in spirituality and self-development, always with a sober view and both feet on the ground.

The start of my practice

From a young age I have been sensitive, and it was often difficult for me to deal with my own energy. This often led to me becoming unbalanced, both physically and mentally. In order to get back into my own energy, I regularly sought the peace and relaxation of a massage.

At a certain point Reiki came my way, just when I was not feeling well. The first time I received Reiki, I felt the soft, relaxing and loving energy. By repeating this experience regularly, I started to feel a deeper connection and more balanced. Inspired by Eastern massages and energetic treatments, I started to delve into these (age-old) wisdoms. I discovered how I could combine this knowledge with my own intuition and creativity. My sensitivity, which I used to see as a vulnerability, I discovered as my strength to let others experience these treatments and to bring energy back into balance. I wanted to create a complete experience during your treatment; by combining the treatments with wonderful natural scents, specially composed music and the atmospheric Eastern space.

 

I have learned more and more about the differences between feminine and masculine energy. Although it is sometimes still a challenge to maintain that balance, I notice that I know better and better what I need. In addition to the pleasant social moments, these are also the moments for myself in my 'sacred place', where I consciously make time for my self-care routines. With my journal, botanical sprays, oils and incense I create a quiet space in which I can meditate and recharge myself.

 

My webshop was created from the desire to give you the opportunity to relax at home and create a 'sacred moment' for yourself. Sometimes a small ritual is all you need to be in the moment again and reconnect with yourself.
